Reimbursement Policy

PlanetSide® is a unique first person shooter that uses certifications earned from experience points that allow use of the equipment in game. There is no player economy as all the equipment can be obtained freely with the proper certifications, and death results in no experience or certification losses.

However, an SOE CSR will investigate any claims of lost experience and may (pending an investigation) reimburse any experience points deemed legitimately lost due to an anomaly in the game.

It is our goal to be able to keep our customers as satisfied as possible and to balance that with the overall integrity of the game.

Deleted/Missing Player Characters:
Characters can only be deleted from the character select screen, which is only accessible using your account station name and password.

Deleted/Missing characters may be restored after an investigation and at the discretion of the CSR.  Note: A restoration of a deleted or missing character cannot be guaranteed, including any experience points that character had earned at the time of deletion.  It is imperative that you contact a CSR immediately if you wish to request a character restoration.

This policy is not all-inclusive and there are situations outside the scope of the policy that may be determined at the specific time to warrant or not warrant any reimbursement. Please remember that no request for reimbursement is guaranteed to be fulfilled.
