It is difficult to believe that 8 years has passed since we heard those first unbelievable reports that two planes had crashed into the buildings of the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon and yet another in a Pennsylvania field. 

The anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, offers an opportunity to remember this unforgettable moment in history, and to reflect upon the impact that the events of September 11 have had on the United States and the world as a whole.  Let’s all take a moment today to remember all those who were affected by these events and to reflect on what was learned that day about patriotism and tolerance.

We're getting closer and closer to Fan Faire... Are you ready? You don't need to start throwing things in your suitcase yet, but it's a good idea to start planning. This Monday, May 25, 2009, SOE will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is a national U.S. holiday, designated as a day to remember those who have died in military service for our country. Some also take time to honor all of their friends and loved ones who have passed on. The National Moment of Remembrance takes place at 3 PM local time on Memorial Day.

The day has also unofficially become recognized as the beginning of summer, which is often celebrated with picnics, cook outs, and summer sports and acitivities. We hope everyone has a safe and pleasant Memorial Day holiday!

Most of Europe will move their clocks forward by one hour when they start daylight saving time on Sunday, March 29, 2009!
In the European Union, Summer Time begins and ends at 1:00 a.m. Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time). It begins the last Sunday in March and ends the last Sunday in October. Not all European countries will turn the clocks forward at the same time. Here is a list of countries that observe Daylight Saving Time in 2009, which includes countries in Europe!

After finding they couldn't meet with the demands on improved armor for all of those tanks, Nano manufacturing settings switched the improved armor from Main Battle Tanks to smaller vehicles, starting with small air vehicles (Mosquito, Wasp and Reaver). To help infantry survive the influx of air Nano in the wild the remaining reserves of the improved armor materials were diverted to the Deliverers, Raiders, Thunderers, Auroras and all buggies and ATVs. The improved armor supplies will be depleted soon so make sure you get as much out of them as you can before we have to resort to older materials for all vehicles.

Additionally, a peace accord was arranged regarding using improved armor material on knives and knives will no longer be manufactured with such material and return to normal.

In other advancements, to help keep up with the constantly changing battlefield, cloning scientists have come up with a way to reset solider training, a recertification, and will be issuing these to all soldiers with the armor change and again when the improved armor material has run out.

Other Notes:
The clip size of the lasher has been lowered to 35 orbs per clip.

Session Maintenance and SOE Services Maintenance

Beginning at 4:00 AM PST on Tuesday, February 17th, all log-in servers will be undergoing maintenance. During this maintenance you will be unable to log-in to all games and account management tools, and you will be disconnected from the server if you are already logged in. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 30 minutes.

Also on Tuesday, February 17th, from 6:00-8:00 AM PST, SOE Account and Commerce flow, the Station Store, will be unavailable due to maintenance. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 2 hours.

This maintenance will prevent log-ins, but players who are in-game should stay in game until they zone or otherwise make a request from the session system.

This might also cause some forum accounts to temporarily lose permissions, due to the inability to verify account status while the maintenance is taking place. This is only temporary and normal permissions will return automatically once the maintenance is complete.
