Implants, what they are:
Implants are highly specialized internal constructs which
enhance a soldiers offensive or defensive capabilities
while increasing a soldiers potential survival rate on
the harsh battlefields of Auraxis.
As a soldier gains more battle experience the body and
nervous system become adapted to using more implants.
The current maximum number of implants a soldier may possess
at one time is limited to 3, due to the extreme strain
on the host nervous system and drain on stamina.
Once a soldier chooses which implant(s) they desire,
"nanites" (microscopic robots) are then injected into
the host body, which in turn construct the designated
implant(s).
Warning: After each
rebirth the nanites must rebuild the implant(s), during
this brief time the soldier will be unable to access their
function(s), caution should be exercised during this rebuild
time.
Choosing the implant that's right for
you:
The choice of which implant(s) to use is dependent on
what role a soldier plays on the battlefield as well as
the soldier's skill and methods of operation. Remember
to experiment with different implants as there are benefits
and limitations for each implant (explore the "Implant
Database" above for more details).
