Battle Islands
New Battle Islands are currently in development.
The islands are designed as compact battle spaces with distinct features and
gameplay. Although they are separate zones for travel purposes, these islands will
be grouped into cluster. Population caps may vary across the different
islands, but the caps will be independent of each other. In other words, the
number of soldiers on one island will not affect the population cap of any
other landmass. Ascension: Roads lead from the three warpgates to the facilities located atop the
stacked mesas, but foot soldiers are able to take advantage of the switchback
paths leading up the craggy cliffs of this island for quicker access. The
three facilities are situated on different sides Ascension's central plateau.
Although there are several ways to approach each facility, control of the
plateau is critical, as crossing it provides a tactical opportunity to attack
the enemy from above. Desolation: This map is defined by its barren sand dunes and its three LLU controlled
Technology Plants. Forces will always be mobile across the wasteland, as
tanks roll out and aircraft lifts off. Due to the limited environmental
cover, armored invaders will require infantry and buggies as AV and AA
backup, while infantry will need to stay near their armored allies to block
line of sight from snipers and turrets. The rocky coasts provide cover for
infantry to also travel along the perimeter of the island. Extinction: The extinct volcano in the center of this tropical island created a series of
small islands, now connected to each other by a series of bridges. Bridge
battles will be common on Extinction, but there are strategic shoreline
access points to facilitate attacks over water through Hover vehicles,
Ancient Tech and Deliverer variants. Post your Comments
