If you
run a PlanetSide focused web site, we'd like to help you show it off. To
submit your site for review and potentially approval, send an email to psfansites@soe.sony.com with the following information: - The name of your
fansite.
- The fansite's URL.
- A brief
description of your fansite's content. If approved, this will be
displayed in your site's entry.
- Primary fansite
contact. This will not be displayed with your site's entry.
Approved
fansites that meet these criteria will receive these benefits: - A direct link from
the PlanetSide
Fansite Page.
- Inclusion
on the PlanetSide
News mailing list, where we keep fansites
updated on announcements and events for PlanetSide.
Fansites
will be reviewed on a regular basis, and some will be selected for Spotlight
Features on PlanetSide.com. To be
considered for approval and listing in the PlanetSide Fansite listing,
we ask sites to meet the following criteria: - Content should be
70% focused on PlanetSide
- Content should be
updated on a regular basis. No need to update daily, but if the site is
reviewed and content is a month old, chances are we will pull the link.
- Provide a clear
link to PlanetSide.com.
- Sites may not
contain illegal information or links to illegal information such as
hacking, warez, or content unsuitable for minors, pornography, gameplay
hacks or exploits or any other features that SOE determines to be
detrimental to SOE or its products.
- All fan site
rights and licenses are revocable at SOE's discretion and are granted by
SOE subject to its guidelines and standards, including without
limitation those set forth in the SOE Terms of Service.
- Outfit or Outfit
alliance sites will not be considered fansites.
Additionally,
for those sites that are maintained within even greater regularity, we offer
the following perks: - Top billing on the
PlanetSide Fansite Listing as
a Tier
One Site.
- Priority service
for delivering content and scheduling Dev Chats/Interviews.
- Occasional
promotional items for them to give away on their site.
Those
sites that wish to receive those benefits will have these additional
requirements: - Content should be
90% focused on PlanetSide
- Content should be
updated 2-3 times per week.
